Murder, vintage bicycles, illegal races, and no doubt loads of those painfully cool types wearing fashionable garment. All of these tasty ingredients make up the exciting new film, from acclaimed director Ian Bonhote, Alleycats.
The film is billed as an action/thriller set in London against the backdrop of the "cut-throat world of illegal bike racing". The story is based around a curious courier who gets embroiled in corruption, political power, and illegal bike racing. We've all been there. From what we have seen of the film it definitely looks fast and furious and it's always good to see cycling getting a bit of limelight. If you want to see the film, we will be getting a limited number of copies in store so keep an eye out. Unfortunately we don't stock skinny jeans or moustache wax though.
One thing that we are proud to announce is that the star of the film will be making an appearance in Russells Bicycle Shed! The beautiful, classy and ever so stylish Light Blue Bicycles Trinity Pista (I was purposely misleading then, I do not apologise).
Russell's Bicycle Shed is a The Light Blue bicycle dealer so if you are interested in getting your grubby crazed fan hands on a film star then pop in have a chat about the Trinity. If single-speeds aren't your thing but you like the classic looks and elegance of The Light Blue bicycles then they have plenty of geared bicycles in their range.
Next week on 'Russell's Bicycle Shed Bike Related Film Reviews' will be reviewing the critically acclaimed art-house classic, Pee Wee Herman's Big Adventure and his voluptuous red speed machine.
