The Making of a Legend:

Russell's Bicycle Shed are proud to present the first part of the History of 'le Tour de France' by Professor David Walker.

Have you ever wanted to know how, why and when the Tour de France began? Why it travels the routes it does? The faces and names of past glory? We plan to have a light-hearted and entertaining evening exploring the culture of the race.

Tickets for both evening now available and exclusively online from http://billetto.co.uk/en/users/russell-cutts

Background.

The second stage of the Tour de France will finish in Sheffield this year on 6th July.

If you want to know more about it, who to look out for and where to watch it from: then come to this two-part series of talks, presented by Professor David Walker (Emeritus Professor of French at The University of Sheffield). David will enthusiastically guide you through the races glorious and not so glorious past.
