Sheffield Station is uniquely served by many cycling friendly facilities but before you travel you may want to find out what is available and where. We have added here maps and details showing how to access the station by bicycle and where to park your bike also we have added information regarding each train companies cycle policy.
The maps below show you the best ways to access the station by bicycle and some of the facilities in or around the station to park and lock your bike.
The Cycle Hub is provided as a secure facility accessible 24/7 for those leaving their bikes at the station. The facility is accessed from near the Taxi Rank and has electronic key fob access. Key fobs are available from our shop for only £10, you will be required to complete a short form giving contact details. There are 377 double decker bicycle stands, changing rooms and toilets available for use of those registered.
Alternative cycle stands are available on Platform 6. There are 48 Sheffield Stands towards the north end of the platform. These are available free to use and are accessible via the rear entrance or across the footbridge.
For those coming to the station to collect tickets or just meet someone there are 12 Sheffield Stands available just off the Sheaf Street cycle lane adjacent the pedestrian crossing and next to the covered walkway to the Bus Station.
There are many other locations nearby available for cycle parking and some of these are shown on the map.
Each Train Operating Company (TOC) has its own policy for bicycles this leaflet will help you understand these conditions however we do recommend that you seek advice at the station or by contacting the appropriate company before you travel.
